Small yet cozy! This room has easy access to our our yoga practice space. It has shared bathrooms with three other rooms and has a shared balcony within the common space. This room has no AC but has a fan. During September, the temperature remain averagely cool, so you may find AC to be unnecessary. This is a great room to select if you are looking for a more affordable 'Backpacker' experience for this yoga retreat.

Meals

Eating healthy energizing meals is an important aspect of Yogic culture and philosophy. Wholesome food contains the Prana (energy) that fuels the body and mind. Our vegetarian Vietnamese meals help promote a healthy diet during your retreat. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to prepare  the meals with our Vegetarian Vietnamese Cooking Class, so you can implement it in your daily life. Each meal is prepared with intention with many of the fruits and vegetables grown locally.

Destination

The destination for our Sapa Mountain Yoga Retreat is in Sapa, Vietnam.

Sapa is a small, mountain town in Lao Cai Province. It is located about 350 km northwest of Hanoi, close to the Chinese border. Here's where you'll find the Hoang Lien Son range of mountains, which includes Fan Si Pan—the country's highest peak. This quiet Vietnamese town is home to different ethnic tribal groups. There are five main ethnic groups in Sapa: the Hmong, Dao, Tay, Giay and Xa Pho.

Whether you have clear skies or thick mist flooding through the valleys, the views and scenery in Sapa in Vietnam are spectacular. Lush green rice fields hug the sides of the mountains like contours on a map, and the bright flashes of color from the clothes worn by the locals add to the spectacle.

How to get there:

  • Book your flight to the city of Hanoi (Noi Bai International Airport)
  • Arrive at least 1 day in advance of Retreat.
  • Arrange Bus Transport to Sapa. (We can assist with this)

Apply For a Visa:

  • Apply for your visa at: https://vietnamvisa.govt.vn/This costs about $17-$37 and can take 4 hours or up to 5 days depending what you pay for.
